AE China 2007 - Setting the momentum for the vibrant South China's Automotive Industry!

Automotive Electronics South China 2007 (AE South China 2007) debuts at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center today - setting the momentum for the vibrant South China’s automotive industry! About 5,000 buyers are expected to visit the 4-day exhibition.

As the Chinese automotive industry expands, sourcing for latest product information, cutting-edge technology and qualified leads become an ever more important task for the manufacturers. AE South China is thus introduced to be a one-stop shop for the automotive industry, where all the international players can network, conduct business meetings and generate valuable sales leads.

The staging of AE South China 2007 in Shenzhen responds to the growing production capacities in South China’s. Market data indicates that manufacturers are relocating their factories to the region in order to reduce high-import costs and to capitalize on the fast-growing automobile market in China. Manufacturers are also investing heavily in research and development, especially in electronic technology that ensures safety, performance and navigation of an automobile. It is expected that South China will be able to produce up to 1.6 million automobiles by 2010, a fourfold increase over 2005.

Responding to this surge in the industry, AE South China 2007 will provide the whole automotive electronics industry chain with products ranging from automotive electronics components, parts to accessories. Exhibitors such as NYP Trinity Limited from Hong Kong will be showcasing their halogen free heat resistant low tension cables; flat harness, sensor cables for antilock brake system and air bag system for automobiles. Second2None Machine Vision Systems, a high-tech company specializing in R & D, production, marketing and support of machine vision and vision based systems, will also present their systems which are applied in the automotive industry.

Taking place alongside NEPCON South China - the meeting point for the SMT industry; EMT South China – business platform for electronics manufacturing technology; and ATE China - Assembly Technology Expo; the 4 mega events aim to provide all 28,000 expected visitors to a one-stop shop for different sourcing needs, update on the latest technology and innovation and to network with the 650 industry leaders from 22 countries.

The concurrent conference is co-organised by the Hong Kong Society of Automotive Engineers. Entitled “Conference on Latest Technology and Quality Issue - Solutions for the Automotive Industry”, the conference will attract industry
professionals and academics who are keen in the solutions and quality issues facing the automotive industry today.
