AE South China debut event attracts over 4,700 trade and professional visitors
The foremost exhibition for the South China's automotive electronics industry, Automotive Electronics South China 2007 (AE South China 2007), lived up to its expectation when it welcomed 4,755 trade and professional visitors at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre from 28-31 August 2007. Taking place in the hub of the Asian automotive market and position alongside three major industrial events including NEPCON South China - the meeting point for the SMT industry; EMT South China - business platform for electronics manufacturing technology; and ATE China - Assembly Technology Expo, AE South China sets to become the leading and most important platform for the automotive electronics industry players. The 4 leading events saw a total of 25,127 trade visitors over the 4-day duration. Visitors were treated to the wide array of exhibits from a total of 650 exhibitors from 22 countries. AE South China 2007 saw strong support from the South China's automotive industry. Exhibitors were extremely pleased to see strong delegation visits from top companies in the automotive industry such as Siemens VDO, Omron, Toyota, Sanyo, BYD Auto, Hangsheng and Dongfeng Auto. Together, these 53 companies brought together 120 important decision makers such as General Manager, Purchasing Managers, Production and Manufacturing Managers, Design and Product Development Engineers, Quality Assurors, Technical Professionals in attending the event. Sun Liang of Siemens VDO, Product Investment Management Department commented that he was able to see a wide range of exhibits during his visit and hope that Automotive Electronics South China will continue to grow and provide an even wider range of exhibits in future. A special highlight of the exhibition was the 1-day conference which was co-organized by Reed Exhibitions China and the Hong Kong Society of Automotive Engineers. Focusing on the latest technology and quality issues and providing solutions for the automotive industry, the conference attracted close to 60 delegates. The conference was proudly sponsored by one of the Automotive Electronics leader, Renesas. Mr Yang Zhengrong of Renesas presented a paper on car information system technology and solutions. Other esteemed speakers included Prof. Wolfgang Wagner, the GM of VDA-Quality Management Center, Dr. Jack Xu of Hong Kong Automotive Parts and Accessory Systems and Prof. Xu Guoqing, Associate Director of CAS/CUHK Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Integration Technology. Exhibitors were happy and pleased to acknowledge the successful debut of AE South China 2007.
